About the event
This event is to draw awareness for the current hostile political climate being directed towards the LGBTQ+ community. With recent bills introduced at the state level (IA HF583, IA HF80, IA HSB139 and many more) and the removal of transgender identity protections from the state's civil rights code, we are being targeted.

Attendees Gather
1pm - This is a time for all attendees to join at our gathering point (Host will have a table set up in Plaza Park). This will be a time for all attendees to gather and be directed so we can be as visible as possible.
Speakers and Q&A
1:30pm We are very grateful to have multiple local leaders, organizations, and political activists featured speaking at our event. All speakers are donating their time out of the goodness of their hearts, and are not making paid statements.
